SALT LAKE CITY — Rep. John Curtis (R) is heading back to Washington after being reelected to his House seat after he defeated Democrat Devin Thorpe in Utah's 3rd Congressional District by over 68 percent.

Thorpe conceded to Curtis Tuesday night and said in a tweet, "Minutes ago, I called John Curtis to congratulate him on his victory. While I am disappointed with the outcome, I am grateful to everyone who supported our campaign in any way."

The win is Curtis's second since being elected to office in a special election to replace Jason Chaffetz in 2017.
