Register to Vote

To register to vote in the next election, you must make one of these deadlines:

ONLINE: Friday, October 25, 2024

BY MAIL: Requests must be received by Friday, October 25, 2024

IN-PERSON: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 (Election Day)

Records of those who have moved are automatically updated when voters renew their driver's license or changes their driver's license address. Election offices use the National Change of Address database to identify voters who have moved. Voters are inactivated if they had not updated their address or have had mail returned as undeliverable. Inactive voters are notified that they must verify or update their address before receiving a ballot.

Absentee/Mail-In Voting

Sat, Oct. 23: Request Absentee/Mail-In Ballot Deadline

Mon., Nov. 2: Absentee/Mail-In Postmark by Date

1. Request an absentee ballot. Print it out, sign it and mail the request form back to your county board of elections.

2. Receive your ballot in the mail.

3. Fill your ballot out. You can mail it back or deliver it in person to your local county elections board.

In-person Voting

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

You need to bring ID. If you don't, you can request a provisional ballot. (ID rules my vary for absentee ballots and first-time voters.) See more options to the right.
