BUENOS AIRES — A college professor died of COVID-19 after collapsing during the middle of an online class while students watched, unable to help.
Paola de Simone, 46, a professor at the Universidad Argentina de la Empressa in Buenos Aires, began struggling to breathe while teaching Wednesday. Her students asked for her address to send an ambulance, but de Simone was unable to speak, FOX News reports.
The teacher replied "I can't" before she passed out. De Simone was later found dead at her home by her husband, who works as a doctor in Argentina.
