SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson tested positive for COVID-19 Sunday, her office announced.

Henderson will be canceling all her public events that were scheduled for this week.

"She is doing well under the circumstances and looks forward to getting back to work as soon as possible," the brief announcement read.

Week two of the state legislative session starts Monday, but the lieutenant governor is not involved until the end of the session.
