SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Wednesday shows an increase of 1,781 confirmed cases and 26 more deaths.
The state's rolling seven-day average for positive tests now stands at 3,113 per day, with the rolling seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 22 percebt.
As of Wednesday, 570 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with the coronavirus.
834 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The 26 deaths announced Wednesday are:

- Male, older than 85, Box Elder County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Male, older than 85, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, no new COVID-19 cases will be released Thursday. Instead, Friday's report will include two day's worth of cases.
