Utah hits 524,000 vaccines distributed in Sunday's report from UDOH

New Cases
710 new cases have been reported, for a statewide total of 361,294.

Testing
4,635 additional tests have been reported, for a total of 2,122,197. The rolling seven-day average of positive tests is now 958, or roughly 14.1% of those tested

Hospitalizations
278 people are currently hospitalized. Since March of 2020, 14,189 people in Utah have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

Deaths
Four new deaths have been reported, for a total of 1,794. The newly reported deaths include:

  • Female, between 45-64, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Sevier County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 65-84, Davis County resident, hospitalized at time of death

Vaccinations
11,811 additional vaccines have been distributed, for a total of 524,000 statewide. 160,214 people have received both doses of their vaccine.
