SALT LAKE CITY — Health care workers will begin receiving COVID-19 vaccinations on Tuesday, according to Intermountain Healthcare.

The original plan was to administer the first vaccines to "prioritized frontline caregivers" — those who are directly involved in care for COVID-19 patients — on Wednesday, but Intermountain said it was able to push that date up by one day "thanks to progress in scheduling caregivers on Monday."
The first shipment of vaccines arrived Monday at LDS Hospital and Utah Valley Hospital.
