SALT LAKE CITY — Utah had a reported 2,183 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, along with nine new deaths. However, the numbers are artificially low as server maintenance was performed last night.

Saturday's COVID-19 case results will include those that were not reported Friday.
The current rolling seven-day average for positive tests now stands at 2,702 per day, with the rolling seven-day average for percent of positive laboratory tests is 26 percent.
There are 568 people currently hospitalized in the state with COVID-19.

With the nine additional deaths, the death toll in Utah now stands at 1,025:
- Male, between 45-64, Utah County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Female, between 65-84, Uintah County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Female, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Male, older than 85, Sevier County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Female, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
