Testing
8,663 new tests have been administered. 1,642,559 people in Utah have now been tested for COVID-19.
The rolling seven-day average of positive tests is now 2,442, or roughly 22.76% of those tested.
Hospitalizations
557 people are currently hospitalized. 10,039 people have been hospitalized in Utah since the pandemic began.
Deaths
7 new deaths have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 557. The newly reported deaths include:
- Male, between 65-84, Iron County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Female, between 65-84, Morgan County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Female, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Male, between 45-64, Sanpete County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Female, between 65-84, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
Vaccines
3,648 vaccines have been administered. 23,400 have been shipped. These are the same numbers included in Saturday's case count.
