Utah is on the verge of having administered 100,00 vaccines, as compared to Friday's report from the Utah Department of Health
New Cases
2,613 new cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 303,723.
Testing
13,104 new tests have been reported, for a statewide total of 1,816,329.
The rolling seven-day average of positive cases is now 3,147 per day, or roughly 32.6% of those tested.
Hospitalizations
535 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 11,778 hospitalization since March.
Deaths
Nine new deaths have been reported, for a total of 1,390 deaths in Utah from COVID-19. The newly reported deaths include:
- Male, between 65-84, Davis County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Male, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, older than 85, Uintah County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Weber County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Weber County resident, hospitalized at time of death
Vaccinations
10,181 additional vaccinations have been distributed, for a total of 99,612.
