More than 10,000 new COVID-19 tests conducted, one new death in Saturday's report from the Utah Department of Health

More than 10,000 new COVID-19 tests have been performed since Friday, and one additional person has died.

New Cases
1,608 new cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 103,117 since March.

Testing
10,069 additional tests have been conducted, for a total of 1,022,809. The statewide rolling seven-day average is now 1,396, or approximately 15.9% of those tested.

Recoveries
An update to the estimated number of COVID-19 recoveries was not included in Saturday's report.

Hospitalizations
310 people are currently hospitalized in connection to COVID-19. There have been 4,997 hospitalizations since March.

Deaths
One additional death has been reported, for a total of 568 deaths statewide. The newly reported fatality was a woman over the age of 85 in Salt Lake County who was not hospitalized at the time of death.
