SALT LAKE CITY — Starting Monday and later this week, many retailers across the country will only let you in if you have a face mask.

Walmart and Kroger will be doing the same.
Smith’s is a subsidiary of Kroger.
Targetwill enact the same policy August 1, and will provide disposable masks at entrances to customers who don't have one.
Target noted 80 percent of its stores already required masks or facial coverings because of local and state regulations.
Home improvement stores will also begin mask policies – Lowes on Monday and Home Depot on Wednesday.
Home Depot says 85 percent of its stores already require face masks due to regulations.
Most of these stores have been open even during stay-at-home orders earlier this year because they were considered essential businesses in most states.
