Health Dept.: 3,769 more COVID-19 cases in Utah; 18 additional deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Wednesday shows an increase of 3,769 confirmed cases—bringing the state's total to 292,720—and 18 additional deaths.

So far, UDOH has received confirmation that 60,462 COVID-19 vaccination doses have been administered in Utah.

The state's rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 2,963 per day, and the rolling seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 32.66.

525 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

1,330 people in Utah have died of COVID-19.

The nine deaths reported Thursday are:

  • Male, between 65-84, Summit County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 65-84, Millard County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Duchesne County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 65-84, Box Elder County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
