The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Thursday shows an increase of 2,742 confirmed cases—bringing the state's total to 317,559—and 11 additional deaths.

So far, 1,871,616 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The state's rolling seven-day average for the number of positive tests is 2,575 per day, and the seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 26.

A total of 133,202 vaccines have now been administered in Utah.

559 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

1,460 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The 11 deaths announced Thursday are:

  • between 45-64, Davis County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • between 65-84, Kane County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • between 65-84, Iron County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • older than 85, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • between 65-84, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • between 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized
  • between 65-84, Weber County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • between 65-84, Weber County resident, hospitalized at time of death

3 females:

  • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, not hospitalized
