Health Dept.: 1,761 more COVID-19 cases in Utah

The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Thursday shows an increase of 1,761 confirmed cases—bringing the state's total to 342,445.

Due to a data transmission error, no deaths were reported. The deaths that would have been reported will show up in Friday's data.

So far, 2,000,023 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The state's rolling seven-day average for the number of positive tests is 1,710 per day, and the seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 18.26.

To date, 267,027 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Utah.

444 people in Utah remain hospitalized with COVID-19.

The disease has claimed 1,620 lives in Utah.
