SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Friday shows an increase of 1,216 confirmed cases—bringing the state's total to 352,489—and 17 additional deaths.
So far, 2,061,926 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The state's rolling seven-day average for the number of positive tests is 1,222 per day, and the seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 16.3.
A total of 382,881 vaccines have now been administered in Utah.
349 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
1,728 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The 17 deaths announced Friday are:

12 of the deaths reported Friday occurred prior to January 15, UDOH said in its report.
