Gov. Herbert extends COVID-19 health guidelines

SALT LAKE CITY — Governor Gary Herbert has extended his executive orders on COVID-19.

The governor's office on Saturday published the orders, which continue existing health directives for how people should live with novel coronavirus. It will now expire on August 20 (and is likely to be extended again).

The governor also issued an extension of his executive order requiring face coverings to be worn in all state-run facilities, including liquor stores, DMV and driver license offices.
