SALT LAKE CITY — The number of COVID-19 infections in Utah continue to accelerate, and the fatalities related to the virus are also on that same path. Nearly 25% of deaths linked to the virus thus far in Utah happened in the month of October.
FOX 13 News understands that behind each statistic, there is a story and a person that touched the lives of others. Anchor Kelly Chapman spoke with three Utahns who have lost a relative to the virus, about their loved ones and how they want to see them remembered.
They also discussed how government agencies from the state and federal levels are handling their response to the virus, their concerns about a potential COVID-19 vaccine, how small businesses can be helped, and their thoughts on large gatherings of people not following social distancing.
