COVID-19 surges around Utah after Thanksgiving testing lull

SALT LAKE CITY — After a lull over the Thanksgiving holiday likely attributed to closed testing centers and holiday schedules, the number of COVID-19 positive tests returned to extremely high levels.

The following chart shows these counties set a record for new cases in the seven days ending Dec 7.
