908 new COVID-19 cases, three new deaths reported by UDOH on Sunday

New Cases
908 new cases have been reported, for a total of 354,608

Testing
An additional 5,845 people have been tested, for a total of 2,076,035. The rolling seven-day average of positive cases is now 1,143, or roughly 15.6% of those tested.

Hospitalizations
329 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 13,862 people hospitalized in Utah in connection to the virus since March of 2020.

Deaths
Three new deaths have been reported, for a total of 1,736. The three new deaths include:

  • Male, older than 85, Tooele County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Female, between 65-84, Weber County resident, hospitalized at time of death

Vaccinations
An additional 9,852 vaccines have been administered, for a total of 413,937 total vaccinations. 101,915 of those vaccinated have received both doses.
