Members of the foundation have challenged themselves to re-imagine what a virtual running event could be, and say they are excited to bring the spirit of the Ogden Marathon to doorsteps across the United States and the world.

"Due to the size of our event and the uncertainty of what the environment will be in May, we have decided to take this time to fully develop and create a virtual experience unlike any other,” said GOAL Executive Director, Eric Bauman. "The safety of our participants, volunteers, and everyone involved in our event is our top priority."

This year's virtual event will include a Full and Half Marathon, Relay, The Utah Eye Centers 5K, and the Granite Construction Kids K. Racers will be able to run their distance in their own hometown between May 9 and May 16.

Each participant will receive their custom 20th Anniversary shirt and medal as well as other goodies delivered to their doorstep. There will also be a week-long celebration full of activities for those living near and far.
