14 new COVID-19 deaths reported by Utah Department of Health

New Cases
3,674 new cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 212,844.

Testing
14,838 new tests were performed. 1,485,811 Utahns have now been tested for COVID-19.

The rolling seven-day average of positive cases is now 2,958, or approximately 25.5% of those tested.

Hospitalizations
603 people are currently hospitalized in connection to the virus. There have been 8,765 hospitalizations since March.

Deaths
14 new deaths have been reported, bringing the statewide fatality rate to 939. The newly reported deaths include:

    • older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized
    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
    • between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized
    • between 65-84, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident
    • older than 85, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident
    • between 65-84, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident
    • between 65-84, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident
    • between 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized
    • between 65-84, Weber County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Four males:
