SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — After a months-long shutdown due to the pandemic, venues in Salt Lake County will reopen to the public next month.
Salt Lake County Arts & Culture announced all its performing arts venues will open on March 25.
"Our phased reopening plans will support us getting back to presenting work to live audiences in a way that protects everyone," the agency said in a statement.
Public in-person performances will begin again at the following venues:
- Abravanel Hall
- Capitol Theatre
- Eccles Theater
- Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
As part of the phased reopening, tickets will only be sold in pairs online. In-person ticket sales will be allowed one hour before showtime.
The four Salt Lake County venues were closed in November, causing beloved holiday performances in December to be canceled.
Guests at the venues will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines. All auditoriums will be sanitized prior to performances, along with other high touch areas in the venues.
