DRAPER, Utah — Ballet West's live performances of "The Nutcracker" and "The Night Before Christmas" are canceled this year, but fans can still see selections from each production in a live setting.

Dancers have been performing scenes from the two shows at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium's month-long "Festival of the Seas" event.

“We know that the pandemic has been especially hard on the performing and entertainment industry,” said Heather Doggett, Aquarium COO, in a news release sent to FOX 13. “We are grateful for grant funds and our supporters that allow us to host this event and bring in the amazing dancers from Ballet West.”

The next Ballet West performance at Festival of the Seas is scheduled for Saturday, December 19 at 6 p.m.
