Ingredients
For the Topping
- 6 tbsp. butter, melted
- ¼ c. maple syrup
- ¼ c. milk
- ½ c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. old fashioned oats
- 1/3 c. pecans, chopped
- ¼ c. unsweetened coconut
- Maple syrup and vanilla yogurt for serving
For the Filling
- 3 lbs. apples, cored and thinly sliced
- ¼ c. orange juice
- ¼ c. maple syrup
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine and mix the filling ingredients until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking dish.
- To the same bowl, add the maple syrup and milk and whisk to combine.
- Whisk in the melted butter.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, pecans, and coconut.
- Add to the butter mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture over the apples in the baking dish and place in the oven to bake for 55-65 minutes or until the topping is a light golden brown.
- Serve warm topped with the yogurt and a drizzle of maple syrup.
