Chris joins FOX 13 after spending seven-and-a-half years at KSNW, the NBC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas, where he served as a bureau reporter, multimedia journalist and eventually Sports Director.
Chris got his start in local television at KTBS, the ABC affiliate in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2007. He was able to work a variety of positions, starting as a photographer/editor and later working his way into an multimedia journalist role.
Chris won several Kansas Association of Broadcasters awards during his stint in the Sunflower State. He won first place for a sports feature he did on Wichita East High School alum and former Detroit Pistons forward Korleone Young. He also led the sports department win first place for their weekly high school football show.
Chris comes to Utah as a lifelong Portland Trail Blazers fan and is hoping the Jazz will take it easy on his team every once and a while. However, he doubts that will happen.
He also enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his cat, Devoe, who is named after R&B music legend Ronnie Devoe.
