BOUNTIFUL, Utah — Firefighters responded to a residential fire in Bountiful that broke out Tuesday afternoon.

According to South Davis Metro Fire, the fire, near 3400 South and 350 West, grew quickly because the front door was open and back windows had blown out.

There were also five propane tanks behind the home, some of which exploded.

Officials say everyone got out of the home safely, but one pet is missing. The house is a total loss. Investigators will be working to determine the cause and exact damage of the fire.
