SALT LAKE CITY -- Cold temperatures and some lake effect snow greeted commuters early Monday morning.

The biggest impacts from the lake effect were on Interstate 80 near Saltair. Fox 13's Scott McKane  is in the Weather Beast keeping an eye on morning traffic.

The Tooele School District tweeted at 7:30 a.m. that buses picking up students in the Lakepoint and Stansbury areas are running about 45 minutes late due to road conditions.
