MOAB, Utah – A Michigan couple that was reported overdue in the Moab area Saturday evening has been located and both are in good condition.
The couple identified by the Grand County Sheriff’s Office as Brett and Judy were last known to be in the Dalton Wells area just north of Moab on Oct. 22.
Loved ones became concerned even though the couple is known to hike and tent camp in the area.
That turned out to be the case. Sunday morning around 9:30 a.m. a Utah State Park Ranger discovered the couple camping near the intersection of Temple Road and Goblin Valley.
There is no cell reception in that area, but the couple contacted their friends and family once they had reception to let everyone know they are okay
