Utah boy brings birthday money to school to pay for students’ lunches

HEBER CITY, Utah — A 5th grader in Heber City is getting some recognition for a good deed on behalf of his classmates.

Heber Valley Elementary School posted about “this SUPER kind” student who brought the money he got for his birthday to school and offered to pay for other kids’ school lunches.

“We love the example that this student and so many others demonstrate each day,” the school wrote.
