SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz had a busy first day of the 2019-20 NBA free agency.

The Jazz signed former Indiana Pacers free agent Bojan Bogdanovic on a four-year, $73 million deal, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted.

The deal with Bogdanovic, a 6'8" shooting guard and small forward from Croatia, will require the Jazz to release forward Derrick Favors, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

The Jazz also signed Ed Davis — a free agent forward formerly with the Brooklyn Nets, Wojnarowski announced.

These changes come after the Jazz received guard Mike Conley, Jr. in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Free agent and former Jazz guard Ricky Rubio has found a new home with the Phoenix Suns in a three-year, $51 million deal.

Favors will start a new chapter with the New Orleans Pelicans. Details of the trade have not been released yet.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert took a moment to recognize Favors for the five years they spent together on the Jazz.

"[I] just want to take a moment to say how much [I] appreciate [Favors] and how much he helped me and us grow!" Gobert tweeted. "This guy is a FORCE and people will realize it very soon. Good luck in your next chapter bro."

Donovan Mitchell chimed in to agree with Gobert, and he had a similar message for departing teammate Rubio.

"So happy for Mi Hermano you deserve it brotha!" Mitchell tweeted to Rubio. "Thank you for everything you’ve done for us and taught me these past two years and also being a better friend as well!"
