PROVO, Utah — Vandals damaged a church owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo Saturday night.

The church building at 550 E. 3230 North in Provo and the fence surrounding it were covered in spray-painted graffiti filled with profanity, slurs and messages directed at Donald Trump and Joseph Smith.

“Our Church buildings are places of worship and community gathering where all are welcome. We are saddened by the damage that has occurred at this location,” the church’s spokesman Eric Hawkins said.
