SALT LAKE COUNTY — A crash on Bangerter Highway at SR-201 in Salt Lake County closed all northbound lanes Wednesday afternoon.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, a semi was exiting SR-201 eastbound, turning left onto Bangerter Highway northbound, traveling too fast when the truck and trailer rolled onto the concrete barrier that separates northbound and southbound traffic on Bangerter Highway.
No one was injured in the crash and there were no other vehicles involved.
However, it did take several hours for troopers to clean up the accident, as they had to offload and upright the trailer.
The semi-trailer was loaded with large paper rolls, each weighing up to 5,000 pounds.
A forklift had to be brought in to move the paper rolls to a new trailer.
