SANDY, Utah — Police evacuated Jordan High School to investigate a bomb threat Thursday.
According to Canyons School District, students were directed to evacuate the school. Sandy Police searched the area and did not find any evidence of a bomb.
During the evacuation, the Canyons School District used Facebook to provide updates for parents.
A Canyons School District spokeswoman said the students were sent to a grassy area on the south side of the school. School buses were dispatched to pick up the students and keep them warm.
