SANDY, Utah — A driver was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Sandy.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. near 9000 S and 900 E., near the Quarry Bend shopping center.
Investigators are working to determine if the crash was related to a medical emergency, or if weather was a factor.
A representative for the Sandy City Fire Department did not identify the deceased driver, but said the driver was a male.
