Salt Lake City police looking for two women who robbed a 7-Eleven at knife point

SALT LAKE CITY — Police are looking for two women who robbed a 7-Eleven store at knife point early Wednesday morning.

The robbery took place at the 7-Eleven located at 776 South and 1300 East, just north of East High School.

Employees told police two females entered the store at 2:39 a.m.

“They both brandished knives and demanded money from the clerk,” Salt Lake City Police Detective, Michael Ruff said. “The clerk complied and they both fled on foot.

One suspect was wearing a grey sweatshirt, black shirt and white shoes. The other suspect was wearing all black clothing with a grey pattern on the shirt.

Both were wearing ski masks during the robbery, and one of them lost her shoes fleeing from police, Detective Ruff said.
