MURRAY, Utah -- Police in Murray are looking for a suspect who robbed a Subway sandwich shop Monday while wearing a suit.

Sgt. Barlow of the Murray Police Department said the man entered the store on 94 E. 4500 S. just before 5 p.m.

Police say the suspect, who was wearing a silver skull mask and a dark-colored suit, went behind the counter, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Eric Lopez, an employee at the Subway, said the man fired the weapon when he didn't give an immediate response.

"It was really loud and something did shoot out, and I felt it hit my arm," he said. "But they said it wasn't a bullet, and they said it's really common and a lot of people use them just to scare you, and it did: it really did scare me."

The suspect is a male who stands about 5-feet, 10-inches tall. He was last seen leaving the store in dark green car, traveling southbound on State Street.

Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to call (801) 264-2673.
