LEWISTON, Utah — A woman has died after a crash in Cache County involving a passenger vehicle and a school bus.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Amber Nielsen Crouch of Lewiston, Utah, died at a hospital after the crash.

Troopers say Nielsen was the passenger in a Toyota Corolla that struck a school bus on State Route 61 near mile post 4 in Lewiston.

The Corolla struck the rear left portion of the bus with the front right part of the passenger car.

Nielsen was taken to a local hospital and from there flown to Ogden Regional Hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the Corolla was taken to Cache Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

There were 32 elementary school age children on the bus, none of whom were transported to hospitals. Two children were checked by ambulance personnel and released to their parents.
