Life Flight helicopter plucks injured hiker off perilous perch in Rock Canyon

PROVO, Utah — A hiker was rescued in Rock Canyon Tuesday evening.

The hiker was injured after falling ten feet in the Bucky Mine area, then sliding another 40 to 50 feet.

A Life Flight helicopter plucked the 24-year-old male hiker off the mountain, and it appears his injuries are minor.
