LEHI, Utah -- Traffic is back to normal after three lanes near Lehi on southbound I-15 in Utah County closed early Wednesday.
Utah Highway Patrol said the combination of old roads and recent rain created potholes that gave drivers a lot of grief. As a result, UHP closed the three left lanes of SB I-15 at mile marker 283 to make necessary repairs.
Troopers said they helped change at least 25 tires in the area as a result of the issue.
UDOT Spokesman John Gleason said several vehicles pulled off the road in the Lehi area after the tires were damaged.
