WEST JORDAN,  Utah -- Three people are in police custody after authorities say a man was shot and killed in a targeted crime at a restaurant in West Jordan early Thursday morning.

Later Thursday police identified the victim as 20-year-old Noe Armijo-Luna of Midvale.

Two of the three suspects have been identified.

Police say 18-year-old Jonathan Hunt of Murray is the suspected gunman, and 22-year-old Jayden Olsen of Murray has also been arrested.

Police have also detained a 17-year-old girl who they say drove the men to the restaurant.

The incident occurred at a Rancherito's restaurant at 7849 South Redwood Road in West Jordan around 12:30 a.m.

Witnesses tell police the victim and a friend were eating inside the restaurant when Hunt and Olsen entered and immediately approached the victim.

There may have been a brief discussion before a short fight broke out, witnesses said, then shots were fired.

"They described two men entering and an altercation that occurred between the two men that entered and the victim and his friend," said Lt. Jeremy Robertson of the West Jordan Police Department. "That altercation resulted in shots being fired, and the victim that unfortunately passed away, he was the only person that was injured "

Armijo-Luna was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Olsen had an "ongoing dispute" with the victim and learned he would be at the restaurant, where he confronted him. During that confrontation, Hunt allegedly shot and killed the victim.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call West Jordan Police.
