Utah Utes and BYU Cougars mascots caught ‘flossin’ on camera

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah - If you're hip, you know all about the latest dance craze, known as "Flossin'."

It's the dance bringing rivals together.

Utah Ute mascot Swoop and BYU Cougar mascot Cosmo got in on the act.

They were flossin' with 10-year-old Marius from Taylorsville.

He's known as "MDogg" on his YouTube channel where he posted the video.

The "Backpack Kid" is credited with starting the flossin' craze.  His real name is Russell Horning, a 15-year-old from Lawrenceville, Ga.

He became a social media superstar when his dancing videos started going viral in 2016.
