Lift Off! SpaceX launches Falcon 9 rocket with supplies for International Space Station

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral with supplies destined for the International Space Station Monday afternoon.

The rocket was loaded with almost 6,000 pounds of cargo, food and science experiments.

This is SpaceX's 14th mission under NASA's commercial resupply services contract.
