SALT LAKE CITY -- Doctor Brian Moench is the Board President for Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment

His group and others are leading the charge to clean up the dirty air.

This week, Dr. Moench joined Bob Evans for 3 Questions:

  1. Give us the good news and the bad news when it comes to making progress in cleaning up the air.
  2. For all of the medical advancement that has taken place, and all that we do know about the affects of air pollution, and pollution of all kinds, on the human system, there is still plenty we don't know about what the effects are. What concerns you most about the things we don't know?
  3. When we have a bad air day, or a stretch of bad air days all in a row, we're advised to carpool and to drive less and to take public transit, and all of the other things ... lower the thermostat in our homes, and that kind of thing. How much of a difference does that really make for individuals to take those kinds of actions?
