Phone Call Scam

PROVO, Utah – Provo police are warning residents about a new phone scam.

Officers said several residents have reported getting calls saying they are behind on their power bills and requesting payment.

Provo authorities are now reminding Utahns the city will never ask you to pay any utilities through MoneyGrams, Western Union or the like.
