Motorcyclist dies in crash on Hill Air Force Base
HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — A civilian employee of Hill Air Force Base died Tuesday morning in a crash on the base.
According to a statement from HAFB, the crash happened around 5:40 a.m. near the base’s west gate.
“My heart goes out to the families and friends of everyone involved in this morning’s accident,” said Col. Jennifer Hammerstedt, 75th Air Base Wing commander.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is under way. The name of the person killed has not been released pending notification of family members.
