The Alpine School District said some schools are experiencing blizzard conditions and have determined it is not safe for certain buses to run this afternoon.

Officials said all A-track students at Ridgeline Elementary and Timberline students who live in the Suncrest area are being held at school.

The district is asking parents to pick up their students because the buses will not be running.

Authorities are monitoring weather conditions for the Ridgeline students being released at 3:30 p.m.

If the weather improves, those students will be transported by bus.

If not, the school will notify parents to pick up their students.
