Repo man pleads guilty to manslaughter after deadly chase near American Fork

AMERICAN FORK, Utah – The man charged with manslaughter in American fork after a deadly crash during a repossession attempt has pleaded guilty.

Police say Kenneth L. Drew went to Ashleigh Best’s home to repossess a Lincoln Navigator with his company tow truck.

Best jumped in the SUV and sped off, Drew followed.

A high-speed chase ensued and ended with a crash that killed Best.

Drew’s sentencing is set for Jan. 10.
