Big Budah’s blog: Fun and service during Thanksgiving weekend

Posted

This week was an eventful one to say the least with it being Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and I am working both days.

It was a good time with the fam at Thanksgiving Point’s “Eat Like A Pilgrim” event with my Mom.

Our Thanksgiving movie tradition was upheld again this year. We watched not one but two movies: Disney’s Moana and J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at our favorite flick spot, Megaplex Theaters at Jordan Commons.

It was especially memorable having our niece Lauren, aka Juicer, visiting from BYU-I and spending time with us since she couldn’t go home.

I was so happy to have had the opportunity to serve dinner and drop off dinner on behalf of The Salvation Army. It was so cool to see the smiles and feel of their appreciative spirit from such a small gesture.

I am so grateful for all that I have and continue to have, including the tough times to help make me a better person. May the start of the holiday season through the new year be a good one for you and yours.
