SALT LAKE CITY – A suspect is finally facing first-degree murder charges a year after two friends were found dead in Magna, Utah.
Brandon Beau Warren, 25, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 26-year-old Stevan Chambers and 26-year-old Shelli Brown.
Authorities found Chambers and Brown, both shot in the head, two days apart near Magna-Copper Park back in Aug. 2015.
Through the investigation, authorities were able to place Warren at the crime scenes on the days of the shootings.

Officials have also linked Warren to the murder weapon.
Warren is also facing 11 felony firearm charges.
His bail has been set at $2 million.
